Brexit Business Support

What are the impacts on business if the UK leaves the EU without a deal? The UK government have released a series of ‘no deal’ technical notices and practical guides that provide information relating to potential outcomes. There are a set of resources and brief summaries (with links to full content) for some of the notices relating to businesses.

Central Government Support

We and our partners are available to speak to you and support you with every aspect of your business. There is also guidance offered through the Government Brexit websites and a "No Deal" advice section.

A tool has been developed for businesses as well to help them prepare for EU Exit. It asks businesses to answer 7 questions across key business operation areas that will be impacted and then pulls together guidance from across Gov relating to their circumstances. You can find the Brexit preparation tool online here.

The "Preparing for EU Exit” website is the central site for guidance aimed at businesses and individuals.

HMRC allocates EORI numbers to all possible traders

As many traders as possible will be automatically allocated an EORI number to enable them to trade smoothly once the UK leaves the EU on 31 October.
Every business will need an EORI number to move goods into or out of the EU after Brexit. HMRC is sending letters to all possible VAT-registered businesses over the next two weeks to advise them of their assigned UK EORI number.
If your business is not VAT-registered, you still need to register for an EORI number. Getting an EORI number is an easy process that takes 5-10 minutes. Get started here http://bit.ly/EORIMids
