Business Growth Programme 2

The £23.5m Business Growth Programme 2 is now open.

Part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and managed by Birmingham City Council, BGP2 builds on the successful delivery of the £33m Business Growth Programme which closed in December 2018.

BGP2 offers grants of £2,500 - £1,000,000 to businesses and is designed to strengthen supply chains, stimulate innovation and help businesses grow. The programme is:

for Start-Up B2B* Small to Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) moving into or located in The Marches Local Enterprise Partnership area only
(grants of £2,500 - £10,000 are available)
for existing B2B*SMEs moving into or located in The Greater Birmingham & Solihull and The Marches Local Enterprise Partnership areas
(grants of £10,000 - £1,000,000 are available)

To check to see if your business qualifies for consideration, visit the Eligibility webpage at www.birmingham.gov.uk/bgp2 or speak to the Greater Birmingham & Solihull Growth Hub on 0800 032 3488.

Grants are subject to eligibility criteria and availability of funds and restricted to 1 grant per business.

A BGP2 grant is offered on the basis of a company creating new jobs.
