Aston University Degree Apprenticeships How to Grow your own Graduates

Aston University Degree Apprenticeships How to Grow your own Graduates
18 January 2017
7:30 - 10:00

Aston University invite business owners, HR and L&D managers to discuss work-based learning programmes.

We hope you can join our discussion, insight and experience in how to get the most value from your levy contribution through degree apprenticeships.

On 6th April 2017 the Apprenticeship Levy will come into effect – are you ready to turn this tax into talent?

Sasha Morgan-Manley, Degree Apprenticeship Coordinator, will illustrate how degree apprenticeship programmes are a successful and cost effective way to increase skills within your organisation across all grades. Sasha, joined by programme managers and partners, will answer your questions about the design and delivery of programmes to grow your own graduates.

Aston, the first university in the UK to provide Degree Apprenticeships, have experience of using apprenticeships to fill skills gaps in businesses and build a talented future workforce. Our Degree Apprenticeships combine teaching of theoretical knowledge with practical application to give students the skills to apply their knowledge directly to the work that they do. Degree Apprentices graduate with a full BSc degree as well as an industry recognised apprenticeship qualification. We currently offer Degree Apprenticeships in Chartered Manager and Digital Technology Solutions but are adding more to our portfolio ever year, based on employer needs.
