In this Digital Horizon event, our two speakers will describe their real-world experiences in implementing digital, in both cases creating significant business value to those businesses. One is a regional start-up that has undergone growth that any entrepreneur would find incredible and the other has undergone transformation in a global business that any leader of a large organisation would find insightful. Both are excellent speakers, passionate about what they do and are here to share their success and challenges with you over wine and canapes.

Gymshark, a company founded just five years ago in Redditch by Ben Francis and generated £42m in revenues in 2017 with sales in over 170 countries. It is a fantastic scale-up success story for the region. Paul Richardson and Adam Harrison of Gymshark will describe how the company grew from a few mates to a structured business able to meet the global demands of this outstanding growth trajectory.

Geoff Cousins was CFO JLR North America before leading Jaguar UK as Manager Director, through the biggest transformation in its history. He will discuss how, Brand Strategy, Product Innovation and Customer Experience were key elements, all underpinned by digital technologies and culture change.. Geoff will also talk about disruption in the traditional auto industry and explore what’s next, including electric, autonomous vehicles and the human impact, or ‘moral dilemma’.
