A panel of successful entrepreneurs based in the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter explain how they got started and accessed support to keep growing.

  • Henry Deakin, Deakin & Francis, England's oldest family jeweller founded in 1786
  • Michele White, an award-winning jeweller selling her work in the British Museum Shop and other locations
  • Neil Grant, from Crescent Silver, who has many high profile clients including the Royal Family
  • James Newman, creative director at James Newman Jewellery and Birmingham School of Jewellery graduate

1pm: Meet the buyer: Selfridges
