Serendipity: an unplanned, fortunate discovery
For the last two years we haven’t been meeting as many prospective clients, but product development and sales have continued at a rapid pace.
This online Marketplace is a serendipity event where you just might find your next big sale, either directly or through a new connection. Don’t miss out on the chance to network and pitch your wares for two hours from the comfort of your office.
The GBSLEP Growth Hub and BCU supported opportunity, allows you to meet a large number of people very quickly, definitely expanding your network and potentially make some sales.
Upon registration, all participants will be encouraged to put forward one product or service to offer to the wider audience – either for barter or sale - with a retail value circa £750. (This is a suggested value, you are welcome to pitch an item with a higher or lower price point).
On the day, participants will be randomly placed in an online meeting room with other participants and given two minutes to “pitch” their selected product or service. After several rounds of pitching, parties who are interested in meeting individually with companies they have either heard pitch, or they saw on the participant list and are interested in speaking to, will be put together for a meeting.
This Marketplace event will be held online on Wednesday 6, July 2022 from 12 – 2pm via Zoom.
