West Midlands Construction Skills Breakfast Workshop

West Midlands Construction Skills Breakfast Workshop
12 May 2017
08:00 - 11:00

The West Midlands Construction Industry is set to enjoy strong growth with the arrival of HS2, the regeneration of our towns and cities and a major house building programme.

An ageing workforce and increased demand means we must act now to attract and train the skilled diverse workforce we will need to fulfil the myriad of professional and trade roles the construction industry has to offer.

The West Midlands Combined Authority, Birmingham City University and the Building Alliance are developing a ground breaking built environment network. At the heart of this will be a new portal which brings together all those who wish to see the people of the West Midlands fulfil their full potential through a career in the construction sector.

Key to this will be providing a one stop opportunity for those who wish to learn to see all the courses that are avaliable through FE colleges, Private Providers and Universities. This free service will be vital as we seek to signpost and inform students about the opportunities that exist.

We would like to invite you to this important breakfast briefing where we demonstrate the portal and discuss the wider project. You will also be given instructions and login 's to enable you to upload the courses you provide and other relevant information.
