A new website has been launched to provide impartial information to help businesses stay informed about the changes that affect them and take advantage of new opportunities arising from the new rules which came into force from January 1.
Growth Hubs from across the west midlands have joined forces to help businesses understand the key areas of change and the challenges arising from the UK’s new trading status.
Birmingham City University Business School are offering a free analysis, and personalised report highlighting your business growth opportunities and challenges. From there you can choose to attend a series of four virtual workshops (running from 2nd February through to 23rd February), or up to 12 hours of free advice and assistance to help you develop a comprehensive business strategy.
The Enterprise for Success programme is funded by the Greater Birmingham and Solihull LEP and ERDF.
The West Midlands Growth Hubs have been tasked by government with connecting local businesses to business support and specialist support in order to help businesses comply with the new rules that came into force on the 1st January 2021, with the end of the transition period, and we need your help.

Letter from the Mayor of the West Midlands to all Business Leaders
Businesses in retail, hospitality and leisure will receive new grants to help them keep afloat until spring. In total, the package of measures is worth £4.6bn across the UK.
The programme is aimed at black social entrepreneurs based in the West Midlands, who want to increase their impact and trading income. Applicaton deadline extended to 31 January 2021. This programme is fully funded.
