Global brand consultancy Brandscape Group signed up to the NatWest Mid-sized Business Growth Programme in partnership with the GBSLEP Growth Hub and Aston Centre for Growth. Just three weeks later, the company have realigned their unique electric car manufacturing project and are reeling out a brand new customer experience.
Specialising in experiential programmes and events that promote leading automotive brands, Brandscape Group entered the Aston Centre for Growth programme to build on and grow the newly formed consumer-focused arm of their business. Servicing major clients including Mercedes-Benz, American Express, Porsche, Jaguar Land Rover and Bentley, Managing Director Ian Mulingani wanted to learn how to better package Brandscape's propositions and maintain a competitive edge in a rapidly growing industry.
The NatWest Mid-Sized Business Growth Programme provided practical workshops on all areas of business growth including strategy, brand and culture, financing, exit strategies & succession planning, and digital marketing, helping the Brandscape team to match company capability to client requirements and refine customer propositions.
"The experts at Aston Centre for Growth, along with the support of the Growth Hub, has not only provided us with practical guidance on growing the business, but have also inspired the team here to fully realise Brandscape’s potential. Having only completed the programme three weeks ago, we can already say the experience has been a transformational one - our business is exploring more avenues than ever before which is very exciting.”
"Our business is now focusing on more creative, innovative and profitable projects that play to our strengths as a team. Since the programme, we’ve decided to press ahead with an all-new project to manufacture small electric cars as part of an exciting new 'Young Driver' experience for 5 – 10 year olds. The project is already attracting a lot of interest and is testament to the value and direct impact of the programme offered by Aston Centre for Growth.”
"The peer-group learning element of the programme allowed us to meet like-minded individuals with similar business aims and the ensuing discussions were as valuable as the course content itself. It is early days but the results are already coming through - Brandscape has become a more dynamic, creative and interesting place to work as a result of the energy and momentum that the programme has given us.”
