Countrywide Security Systems receives Coronavirus business support

Monday 20th April

Countrywide Security Systems are a security system installer. They are a self-employed business providing properties throughout Birmingham with modern security systems to discourage individuals from breaking in.

Like many businesses, they have been affected financially due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Bookings have been cancelled which in turn will affect the company’s future income and as a result creates uncertainties for their PAYE employees.

Countrywide Security Systems needed financial help, and after researching the schemes that the Government had put in place, the company felt that the packages were not refined enough to work for their business.

The next step was to find a helpline number to discuss Countrywide Security Systems’ financial and business needs. After nearly giving up hope, they stumbled upon the GBSLEP Growth Hub, Neal Rooke, Director, said “as soon as we clicked on their website, there was clear information on help for businesses who are suffering from the COVID-19 [pandemic]. More importantly, they had a telephone helpline number clearly displayed on their website and it was even a freephone number.”

They called us and we directed them to the relevant people in their local area for financial assistance. Countrywide Security Systems spoke to Jennifer Campbell, one of the Growth Hub’s SFEDI accredited Business Advisers, “who was not only willing to listen to our individual problems… she gave us real sound advice and on top of that, she would be willing to provide us with help and advice going forward”.

Neal further said a “massive thank you to Jennifer and the Growth Hub for helping businesses like ours, no problem is too big for these guys. If you require business support through these difficult times, do not hesitate to contact these guys, they are brilliant! A++++”.

The Growth Hub’s support to Countrywide Security Systems provided them with necessary funding and business advice, “we now feel that financial help is coming our way which has left us feeling a lot less worried about our business” (Neal Rooke, Director).
