Monday 9th April

The Growth Hub has helped a wide variety of business in the Greater Birmingham and Solihull region through business support, funding and advice. Read how the Growth Hub has helped Dionne Reid and her start-up business, Manabika Wellbeing through the funded project Enterprise for Success.

Dionne started Manabika Wellbeing in 2017 and works with a variety of clients on their wellbeing.

Starting a new business had many challenges for Dionne to overcome, from writing a business plan, developing networking opportunities and the confidence to go forward with her business idea.

How the Growth Hub helped

The Growth Hub supports the Enterprise for Success programme, part funded by the European Regional Development Fund, offering tailored support to Dionne and anyone starting a new business within the Greater Birmingham and Solihull area

Enterprise for Success helped Dionne with her own personal mentor and given a range of support to grow her business; including writing a business plan, attending relevant courses and managing cash flow.

"It’s actually a business rather than a dream”. Dionne Reid, owner of Manabika Wellbeing
