Foresso, a sustainable design and manufacturing company, has receive tailored business support from the Growth Hub – helping them survive from the effects of the pandemic, overcome Brexit challenges and to become carbon negative in the future.
Jake Solomon (Managing Director, Foresso) has really benefited from the relationship with his Account Manager – Christine Hancock, Growth & Resilience Specialist. “The GBSLEP Growth Hub does many different things and you’ll find out as you get an account manager and that relationship is the thing that will allow you to look at the landscape of what they can do.”
Christine has over 25 years of experience in empowering businesses and individuals to open up to new opportunities and to operate effectively in global markets. These useful introductions include Growth Hub account managers, Will Broad - Low Carbon Specialist and Vernon Hogg - Access to Finance Specialist. They have offered the best support to help him succeed, including looking into local sources of waste leaves for their plan to start manufacturing paper from organic waste.
The Growth Hub have continued to work with Foresso, supporting their plans and agenda going forward. Christine stated: “We are currently looking at how we can help with a full lifecycle analysis of their CO2 emissions - ensuring they are carbon negative will be powerful for them in marketing and project specification.”
