What could you learn from a successful SME business leader through mentoring?
Your business could benefit from the experience of a successful business mentor through the Aston Business Mentoring Programme (AMP). Delivered by the Aston Centre for Growth, working in partnership with the GBSLEP Growth Hub, the programme aims to boost productivity and performance of Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to succeed within challenging market conditions.
Through a series of bespoke and structured one-to-one virtual mentoring* sessions, delivered over 12 weeks, business leaders will benefit from insights to build resilience, increase productivity and address barriers to business growth. The programme places emphasis on peer-led mentoring and hand-picked mentors with real experience of growing or running a successful SME will provide guidance on the following themes among others;
• Business strategy and planning
• Innovation
• Technology adoption
• Sales & marketing
• Financial management
• Leadership
*Face to face mentoring is permitted by mutual agreement between mentee and mentor.
Eligibility criteria
The following criteria must be met to participate in the Aston Business Mentoring Programme;
• Small or Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) with at least £50K annual turnover
• Trading for at least one year
• Employ at least 3 people
• Located in the GBSLEP area
