Big Data Corridor Projects will be offering to Small/Medium Enterprises a comprehensive support package that includes traditional business support, consultancy and knowledge transfer from research partners. It will also give SMEs access to a platform offering access to regional and sector-specific data free of charge.
The project will provide support from ideation to commercialization, will help SMEs to innovate and bring to market new products based on the use of big data. It will provide a safe environment where SMEs can expose their ideas to experts and work with the general public or other businesses to better understand market response.

Big Data Corridor – A New Data Economy Project is being led by Birmingham City Council (Digital Birmingham) in partnership with the of Aston University, Birmingham City University, Innovation Birmingham, West Midlands Combined Authority, EnableID and Telensa. The project is part-funded by the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund.
