Office Space: Get 12-months free workspace at Innovation Birmingham Campus, Millennium Point or one of our partner institutions.

Launch funding: will help you to cover some of your initial start-up costs and enable you to get going.

Our mentors: are on hand to offer advice and guidance based on their own extensive business experience.

Our supportive entrepreneurial community: including existing BSEEN participants, former BSEEN startup founders and a range of professional services organisations will be an encouraging sounding board for your ideas.

For Students & Graduates

Join the award-winning BSEEN programme and get the support you need to set up and grow a new venture in Birmingham. Apply with your viable business idea via the online application form on the BSEEN website.  Your application will be evaluated and the next step is to attend a panel interview at one of the partner universities.  If successful you will receive the full support of the BSEEN programme for 12 months.

For Mentors

Mentors are a vital part of the BSEEN programme. We’re always on the lookout for mentors who are keen to share their expertise and knowledge, inspiring and guiding fledgling business owners and giving them the confidence they need to make their idea a success.

BSEEN, part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund, is open to all current students of Aston University, Birmingham City University, University College Birmingham and Newman University, as well as any individuals who have graduated in the last 5 years. You must live in Birmingham and have not already launched your business. Please refer to our website for full details.
