Purpose: The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to employers offering job placements and training for young people aged 16-24 who are currently receiving Universal Credit and/or are at risk of long-term unemployment. The GBSLEP Skills Hub will be delivering an online webinar to simplify:

- The Kickstart Scheme application process/ your responsibilities as an employer and the role of the Gateway provider.

- How you can prepare your business to submit a strong application?

- How the Skills Hub can support your business to use the Kickstart Scheme as a steppingstone for future growth and development.?

Who: This webinar will be suitable for employers who would like to find out more information on the government’s Kickstart programme and also guidance on how to recruit and support a young person through this scheme.
