The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to create new 6-month job placements for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit who are at risk of long term unemployment.
Employers of all sizes can apply for funding which covers:
Employers can spread the start date of the job placements up until the end of December 2021. You’ll get funding until 30 June 2022 if a young person starts their job on 31 December 2021.
This fantastic opportunity will help “young people get a great start in work” whilst your business will benefit from all the skills and knowledge young people bring with them. Check out the Kickstart Scheme here.
Employers wishing to create fewer than 30 placements have the option to use a Gateway Organisation instead of applying to the DWP directly. Find out more here.
The Skills Hub's expert advisers are enabling small businesses to take part in this scheme. Click here to contact them today for free support with all your company's recruitment and training needs, or complete the form at the bottom of this page to request a callback.
